I beat Eternal Sonata tonight.  As RPGs go, it's not very long.  My Clear data save following the last boss clocked in at just under twenty-eight and a half hours.  It is, however, a game that is very well paced, and doesn't leave the player meandering from meaningless subplot to pointless sidequest for the sake of extending the playtime.  It is ( Read more... )

Ah, Jack Thompson.  When he isn't making a nuisance of himself in the news, he's busy defending himself from the Florida Bar Association.  He's doing a bang-up job of getting himself disbarred, too.  I mean, who else would submit unnecessary gay porn in a court filing?

I beat Persona 3 today.  The final boss was an endurance battle, but once I managed to set into a rhythm, I didn't have too much trouble with him...aside from the time he managed to charm Yukari with his high damage/random status effects attack.  She healed him back up to full health and I had to whittle him down all over again. -_ ( Read more... )

A warning to any Seattle-area ladies that have recently watched a movie at the Cinerama.  An asshole employee was caught using a camera to film women using a toilet in the restroom.  I don't know how long the PI will keep this link online, but the police are encouraging any women that may suspect that they were filmed to come forward.

I just got back from seeing Sunshine.  It's a really fun movie, and actually very intelligent as far as sci-fi movies go.  If Armageddon is your idea of good sci-fi, this movie isn't for you.  Also, you should probably be shot into the sun.  But I digress.
