There is too much Zen in my soul. I hesitate to call it "pacifism"... because it's more like "contentment". The outside world exists to be experienced. My battle-axing rage is picking up. It is where I wish I had a battle ax, so I could go slaying! I am really seeing lately who my friends are... And I am being literal about the "seeing" part ( Read more... ) -
too young to care
Man, middle school practicum is really wearing me down. I'm mostly tired of the weak discipline policies and the constraints of teaching how you want to because you have to teach to the test. In regards to discipline, these kids don't know fear. They don't understand consequences. Teachers are forced to act like "you can walk all over me" ( Read more... ) -

Stupid Tim for being stupid and stubborn. Jerk never listens to what I say and stays fixated in his own mindset. The guy honestly can't look past his own perceptions to see the world the way someone else does. I'm stuck having to defend everyone who doesn't think or act like him. a finite loop
I started my practicum on Tuesday, and have been there every morning since. I have endearingly called it "going to middle school" - because that's what it is. It's been ok. The teacher I'm working for is nice, so that's good. And she's very encouraging. My partner and I are supposed to come up with activities to do with the remedial math kids ( Read more... ) -
