New laptop! It was the best system that I could buy in the store and it cost less than a thousand dollars and it is tax free weekend here. This is the first computer that I ever bought. 1.) From the 9th (today/yesterday?) to the 11th employee appreciation days at work boosts my discount up to 40% off for books so I pretty much tried to get a full year's worth of book and comic book shopping done today. I don't know which is worse the general awfulness of some Wikipedia entries or the fact that I actually care about what some kids are writing about a cartoon on the internet. Rubbish
The garbagemen haven't been picking up my trash for the past couple of weeks. They are all of a sudden saying that the same garbage cans that my family and every other house in this neighborhood have have been using for decades are too big. They weren't too big last month but now they are and we have to buy new cans to meet their new requirements. ( Read more... ) -
