Why in 2008 do movies look so ropey in the cinema? Isn't it about time that movies were distributed in shown purely digitally. A $50 dvd player fed into a projector would be superior. So I'm off to Houston tonight for a week. I have my spare bag for all my purchases from Best Buy and Borders. I will also be eating steak and BBQ. Lots of steak and BBQ

The last couple of weeks have really been the first time we've had a few rough days when things have just been frustrated or depressing. The worst was last weekend when we planned to go down to the old colonial museum in the city. At the weekend I had to travel down to Goa to present at a conference. Tuffy and the kids came down too and spent a nice weekend at the beach. Despite being a 45 minute flight we even got a full meal on the plane. You don't get that in the US these days ( Read more... )
