I've recorded myself two nights now and so far I have not gotten any talking, though to be fair the first night my phone fell to the floor and was under my bed most of the night.

I remain hopeful.

Have you tested the sensitivity of the app? Cos maybe you don't talk very loudly when you sleep talk.

Yeah, it's fairly sensitive, it gets my blankets rustling if I turn a lot. I also tried to aim it, but I do mostly sleep facing my room, not my wall (which is where my phone is). We shall see, I am still in testing mode.

How about setting up some boxes near your bed to sit the phone on so it doesn't fall during the night? Or a nightstand if you have one.

That's a good idea, thanks!

Oh, which app did you end up using?

One called Smart Voice Recorder. It's funny because it also records every time I get a text. I get a lot of texts most nights, so it is amusing.
Last night's recording was all just coughing and texts.

I... don't know what to do with the coincidence of "just coughing and texts" with "yay! murder!
murder!"
