Tam's blood pressure is a little on the high side. She's working from home. Short of smashing her computer, I doubt I can get her to stop working altogether. It started on the weekend. Gradual at first, I wasn't sure what to make of it. It was a pain in my left arm, just below the shoulder. By Monday, it was hard to ignore, as it was begining to spread below my elbow. Pain relievers were having no effect. It didn't help that I had caught my wife's cold and was coughing up a lung. Well, Tam's doc has basically taken out the Red Card. Tam had her doctor's appointment today, and due to her blood pressure fluctuating in the medium-to-high end of the scale, the pregnancy is being classified with an elevated risk factor, so traveling to South Carolina for the holidays is not going to happen for us this year. I've recently took a look at the sort of music I enjoy listening to, mostly focusing on the ones I can sing myself (maybe even play on the guitar). I've come to the conclusion that I tend to gravitate towards tunes and lyrics that are more of a melancholy or whimsical nature. One wonders what this says about me in general.

A friend of mine is a character witness in a custody case. Apparently the “other” guys have managed to track down his blog and are using it (or planning to) as evidence against him - either to discredit him or his character - with regards to this case. I love the Montreal Metro. Many a childhood memory (well from the age of 14 through 23 anyway) were spent getting around town by use of the subway and public transit.

So Tam has been looking feverishly for a possible opening at a daycare for after the baby is born (WAAAAY after!) We're looking now because waiting lists can be as much as 2-3 years to get in at one of the government subsidised $7/day daycares.
