Yup,

As it turns out, at the event last weekend, I had been in the full throws of lung and sinus infection. Small wonder I was having an "off weekend". Am on anti-biotics and prednisone for the rest of the week.

It had been close to 5 months since my last SCA event.

Although there was no “real need” for me to miss Birka in January, my stress level did not allow me the peace of mind to be separated from Tam. To answer everyone’s question: NO - the baby has not arrived yet! She’s due this Friday (if she co-operates that is…)
