I read a statistic today that said that 95% of the women that diet gain it all back and then some. Can any of you ladies vouch for that? If that's true, I'm all for dieting LOL. I am one of the unlucky husbands whose wife can loose weight relatively easy :((( I just hope she gains it back (and then some)

I heard my wife tell my mom this morning that she's been real good sticking with her diet. One of her coworkers and her have a bet on about weight and inches to loose. She's measuring and counting food now. A diet. Never has she done that. She even promised me when we first got married that she'd never go on a diet. She's not fat by a long shot. My wife bitched about the chocolates, but ya know, the box is empty!!! I fixed her a 4 egg omelette with loads of cheese, a dash of veggie oil and mixed in bacon, served it the the remainder of nearly a pound of bacon and fried potatoes and a 16 oz glass of milk....by golly, she ate it all :) There is hope.

Well, my wife's birthday dinner went pretty well. I fixed her a 1.47 lb sirloin, twice baked potatoes (with lots of cheese), garlic bread, and a salad. She only ate about 3/4 of the steak :( but had several of the potatoes and bread ( Read more... )

I am bummer. My wife tried on the size 16 pants I bought her and they were too big. Now, they fit really snug in the thighs, hips, and butt, however the waist gaped open in the back, especially when she sat down. I think it was mostly the brand's cut. Well, here we are, the last week before Christmas. I bought my wife a box of chocolates, a can of cashews, two XL tops and 2 pairs of size 16 pants. I'm hoping they'll fit...the snugger the better. My wife was raking leaves yesterday...I had baked a coffee cake earlier in the day....so I cut her a BIG piece and poured a cup of coffee. Much to my surprise, she quit raking and sat and ate it all. She came in later and grazed on mini candy bars ("fun" size). She had bought 2 tubs of fudge at a church bazaar...ate several pieces of that. ( Read more... )

Well, all of the extra candy is pretty much gone, as is a pumpkin cake, and a bunch of other food. There was a chunk of the pumpkin cake left today. My wife was finishing lunch...munching on cheese popcorn. I cut myself a small piece of cake and gave her the rest.
