Jesus H. McGillicutty, I'd forgotten what a pain in the ass costuming could be. Of course, seventeen years IS plenty of time to forget. All the same, Operation HallMOween is almost ready for launch now, barring one last-minute snafu or another.

Goddamn, but I suck at painting of any kind.

I acquired some classic hardbacks from my late neighbor's estate sale, including Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Cooper's Last of the Mohicans, and collected works by de Moupassant and Hawthorne . It's a weird feeling, having something treasured by someone barely a month dead.
