Chapter Twelve
Kara had never been good at waiting.
It wasn’t her style. She liked to be fighting, acting, moving. But now there was nothing else for her to do. She’d fought for Lee as far as she could, made her feelings clear to him. The ball was in his court now; all she could do was wait to see if he returned it.

It was everything I hoped it'd be - they ended up together and willing to risk everything to trust again - but it wasn't so sappy that it wasn't believable. Bravo! You write Kara and Lee so well that you can feel the tension and relief flowing through your own body as you read. You are one of my absolute favourite authors - I wish I could write as well as you. :)
Have yourself a great Christmas and once the holidays are done I'm hoping you'll get started on the next great story for us. :D

You couldn't have said anything that made me more happy! I was very worried about this getting too sappy.
And you're one of my favourite authors too - I really enjoy your writing, particularly your short introspective pieces, and as I was saying the other day reading your stories really helps me to understand Kara. Don't sell yourself short! :) I see you have posted something while I was away, must go and read...
No ideas for a new story yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something....!
Hope you had a lovely Christmas.

Well, I'm very sorry for not saying this earlier, but I truly enjoyed this one. Thanks for posting! It was a nice

Sigh. Therapy, in other words. :-)

Truly wonderful story that hits all the right notes.

Glad you enjoyed this one, it's definitely my Lee/Kara wish fulfilment story, and it was good to give them a happy ending. Writing it got me through the angst of early season 3.
