I have always had a morbid fascination with fan fiction, because they're like rorshach tests. This is especially true with Legend of Zelda FanFic, because it's Campbellian simplicity (until recently) makes it a blank slate which people placed their values and neuroses on. When someone writes fan fiction, it's like having a guided tour of their mind

I have recently begun reading "In Defense of Freedom" by Frank Meyer. Frank Meyer was one of the founders of the New Right, alongside William F. Buckley Jr. My favorite Libertarian philosopher who sadly, is not remembered very often, but his thought forms a critical part of modern conservatism.
