Even though I was running fairly silent for the last few years. I just checked when I first signed onto LJ and it was December 23rd, 2003. You guys have been here for my whole fannish journey! Thanks for that.

Glad to see things are going well for you. Over here, still teaching at Langara College, still happily married, still have one cat (the healthy but dumb one). I am running a D&D campaign (5th edition) as well as playing an Exalted game. Oh, and I don't know if it is LJ treason to mention this, but I am on facebook. ;)

Good to "see" you! And I've been getting back into comics, too, although I tend to wait for them to come out in graphic novel form. I've really enjoyed Avengers Assemble, Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, and I'm starting to come around to She-Hulk.

I too know the allure of trades (all the story arc, in one easy bundle!) Luckily my library system has a number of trades available! We'll have to talk comics soon.
