Well I'm a little nervous.... Tomorrow I leave for Maine. I'm assisting the cross country coach with her camp which is being held in Maine. I'm very excited about the trip. Wow today has been a productive day! I went in to work, gotta love being a teacher. There's actually a lot to get done before the school year begins at the end of August and I'm completely booked the first two weeks of the month. It's done, the choral concert is done. Okay bad news first.... The sound guy didn't show up. As of 3:30 when I walked out of work he said he would be there. 7:00 rolls around no sound guy. Well, I'm home. What an absolutely wonderful weekend! I spent it with a friend down in South Lyon. We pretty much just chilled, watched movies, cooked, went swinging at the community park and I received my first guitar/bass lesson (I have to cut my fingernails). Exciting news! Last week Thursday we, the teachers in my district, ratified the new proposed two-year contract! Our schedule for next kicks butt! Plus our insurance doesn't change and we get a raise. I'm so happy about that!
