Another day of doing almost nothing of importance. I did go to Bath & Body Works to get a present for someone at work. The facility is having a bridal shower for her on Wednesday. I'm extremely glad this week is over. It's been hectic, annoying, irritating and disappointing. I'm working on Monday though. Labor Day has never been a big holiday for me or anyone in my family. The disaster in NOLA as we're affectionately calling it, has really placed some things into perspective. WatermelonsOur first floor residents at the nursing home are considered "skilled and acute care" patients. And they are. Severely. Everyone dreads doing activities on the first floor because you don't receive feedback like you would if you were talking to a second floor resident or someone who wasn't elderly or ill at all.
