Today Daryl and I drove up to Parksville to meet Sarah and Ashleigh. We left Granny’s house at about 12:30 cause I wanted to go to the dollar store in Esquimalt that sold Winnie the Pooh tattoos (Daryl and I got a bunch about 4 years ago). On the weekend, Daryl and I headed over to the Island. On Friday morning, I got up at 5:45 so I could water all of the garden before I left because I wasn't 100% sure that my brothers would be up to the task and the forecast was for 35+ degree weather all weekend!

Today I met up with one of my old friends from UVic. Alex was on the floor below me in Residence and we had tons of fun (but didn't get much studying done). Anyway, she is now living near Commerical and Broadway in East Vancouver and working with street youth.

This weekend, Daryl and I went to Vancouver Island to visit my grandmother and catch up with some old friends. Today Daryl and I went to see the BC Lions play the Toronto Argonauts. I got him these tickets for his birthday and I guess a lot of people wanted to see Ricky Williams (the suspended NFL player that Toronto picked up for the season) in action.

Today I got a new cell phone! Yay!! Daryl and I decided that we would save money if we got a Family Talk plan so that's what we did and in the process we both got new phones. It's good cause now we have 2500 minutes to call each other for free and both have free evenings and weekends after 6. Yes, so hopefully no more extortionate cell phone bills ( Read more... )
