Some friends and I have decided we're going to write and direct XKCD: The Musical. It's going to be amazing, and the set is going to be that the entire theatre is full of playpen balls. -
And I called my landlady today. It's like I'm a superhero or something.
I just sent off my resume to a summer camp I want to work at! I am super-nervous that in ten minutes I will realize that I accidentally wrote I LIKE TO EAT BOOGERS on it somewhere without noticing. But mostly I am relieved ( Read more... ) -

I'm looking forward to winding down after this week. I've been intensely busy, but this morning I had the history midterm the preparations for which were taking up all my time, and I finished the math assignment that's due at midnight, and now I'm trying to read my flist and clean out my inbox and enjoy the relative low-pressure-ness of all this ( Read more... ) -

I tried a new recipe for molasses cookies last week, and they turned out really well. I made a few changes: brown sugar instead of white, and instead of adding powdered ginger to the mix, I chopped up some candied ginger and added it along with some walnuts after I'd taken the dough out of the fridge.
