Six hours of training with only one 15 minute break and no food or water provided - and I survived! Next time, though, I'm bringing a parka. It's too fucking cold to sit still inside a building.

Perhaps not the world's greatest job, but I am happy to be getting started. I will be working at Macy's doing "processing" which I think involves mostly unloading trucks. I just finished reading the fabulous "Tooth and Claw," by Jo Walton. If you like reading, READ THIS BOOK. I don't really know how to describe it. The blurb on the back called "Pride and Prejudice with dragons," but it is so much more than that.
