I found the latest copy of the Quibbler laying around in the common room today. I don't like to read that magazine because it is hard to believe a lot of the stories they print. It was lying on a side table next to the sofa and, normally, I would have ignored it, but the headline caught my eye: ( 'Increased Dementor Sightings' )

Dennis showed me the picture he drew of me the other day. He is a very talented artist and quite a funny boy to talk to. Goes to show that if I get to know someone, they will end up surprising me. Dennis Creevy is such a surprise. Why did he seek me out today? The only thing I can think of was that I was the first person he saw. He is a little odd but still a nice boy, if a little nervous at times. We've never really talked before, just once and only during the DA, if I remember correctly.

My classes today were pretty good. I was really looking forward to Defense Against the Dark Arts today, especially because Professor Lupin is back. Herbology is always fun, I was happy to see Professor Sprout, we chatted a little about the holidays, she's such a sweet lady. Emotions are overflowing today and it is hard to find solace in what seems to be an uncertain future. I feel absolutely saddened by what has happened to Hannah. I am also extremely worried about her.
