Wow, talk about a surprising news item I wasn't expecting when I got up this morning, apparently an old Insults fan is lighting the world of academia on fire, earning a $25,000 fellowship to study punk culture in Europe.  Kudos to you, my man, and thanx for giving us more press than we probably ever got back in the day!

Inspired by an internet conversation about the best songwriters of the last 30 years started by my pal/partner in crime Jimbo, I have decided I need to start writing/collaborating for a band that meets somewhere betwixt The Clash and the E-Street Band.

Now seeking folks interested in appearing on the debut LP "I'm So Born In the USA."

As of tonight, I will have seen the Pogues twice and Billy Bragg twice this month. Words cannot truly describe how monumental this is to me.
