My grandma seems to be doing better now. My mom said she was walking & they switched her to a new room. She also has less IVs in her. They plan to send her to a Rehabilitation center for a week after she gets out. Yay grandma ( Read more... )

So Eric came with me to visit my grandma on Saturday. It was so sad to see her in that hospital bed hooked up to all kinds of machines & IV drips. I couldn't help but watch her heart monitor & have my own heart jump every time it went a little too high or a little too low. Sad news. :( My grandma is getting sicker. She started running a fever & then fluid & some sort of infection started in her lungs. They tried to give her anti-biotics to clear it up, but instead she had an allergic reaction to them. My mother says she is very weak now. Ok, so I went for a job interview yesterday & it went really well. The lady is calling me back on Monday. I'm pretty sure I aced this one though. I also got the confirmation that all of my account information for my $4k was completely switched over to me. I just got some terrible news from my mother...my grandma had a heart attack last night & was put into the hospital. She'll be there for 4 days. She's in the CCU {critical care unit} now, but tomorrow she'll be moved into a regular room. She had blockage in one of her arteries so they inserted an angioplasty - a tube that opens the heart vessels ( Read more... )
