Near drowning today
I almost lost a dog today. Ruby went through the ice on the lake and couldn't get up. She was about 25 meters from land, and the lake is a muddy forest lake with no real bottom. The ice was thick but not thick enough ( Read more... ) -

This is Jill, who came to PAWS the other day. She's a little whippet cross aged 2-3 years, very friendly but not feeling the best at the moment. Another useless day
I haven'r done ANYTHING productive today! Sent a few emails to prospective adopters and made a few phonecalls, looked after my landlady's horses and cats, and took the dogs for a walk. Oh and my dad was here to try and fix my TV, but he still couldn't find channel 4!! *sigh ( Read more... ) -
Blow me away!!
There's supposed to be a huge storm heading for Sweden at the moment, and I hope it hits us full on! I love natural phenomenons like hurricans, thunder storms, snow storms etc! But I guess it won't be very bad down here, think the winds will be stronger further north. So far it's just raining ( Read more... ) -
No luck today
Hanna went to try and get our dog back from the mental patient north of Stockholm today, but had no luck. Hopefully we can find a good lawyer who can help us, because the dog HAS to get away from there, she is not being cared for. Bleh ( Read more... ) -
New dogs arrived in Sweden.
I have a terrible cold right now, it started last thursday with a sore throat and today it's reached it's peak. My throat is sore, my ears are itchy and blocked, my nose is runny, I'm sneezing every 2 minutes, my head feels like it weighs a ton and I've got a fever.
