You are hilarious, darling! No wonder I like you so much. My brother got me to believe that red rum was a pirate drink when I was a kid, the little shit, and it was years before anyone clued me in.
This is actually a really random reference to a person; a wonderful, gorgeous, brilliant young man for whom I care very deeply. And who I am not supposed to compliment anymore because it makes him uneasy, which is really hard. So I'm telling you instead, heh...
Ahh, then I shall accept such glorious, second hand comments and project them into the cosmic eather...or something *g*
Alas I was the one who terrorised my siblings. My sister had a very real, terribly chronic fear of Mist and Fog. Apparently it took her years to get over it, complete with panic attacks.
All this stemmed from me telling her as a child that mist/fog were the souls of the damned who were looking for a host body and flesh to feed upon. I even went so far as to create stories about people being stripped in seconds of their flesh and organs ala Vasthta Nerada ( doctor who)
You are so bad! I will admit that I gave as good as I got from Karl, we well and truly terrorized each other over the years, it was quite fun. Especially once I learned that he is insanely squeamish about blood and gore. I have no regrets, either, as a matter of principle.
You should send her the movies, The Mist (King again, he is inescapable) and The Fog. *snerk*
Yes, please do send out my adorations to the ether and let them be carried south to subtly stroke the sweet boy. It is kosher if it doesn't come directly from me, right?
