I young man came on to me on the bus the other day (after I had been approached by a lesbian at the bus stop, WTH, I must have been wearing a cute outfit or something). He was extremely persistent, to the point of getting off at my stop and walking me down the street. He tried several tactics before going for the exchange below:

Hello, ghostwolf. You have friended me... no offense, but why? We do not appear to know anyone in common, or have any interests or communities in common, and I am fairly certain I would remember you if we had spoken before. Was it just random? I am not unreceptive, necessarily, but I am quite perplexed. I'm not terribly interesting, after all. -
Being a panicky, paranoid wreck. It kind of sucks.
