I feel like a Japan-medium cardigan wrapped around America-medium (e.g. Japan-large) undershirts and limbs.
Incidentally this is what I've been wearing for the past two weeks, plus/minus pants

Notes
cardigan = OUTSIDE JAPANESE FORCES
under-layers = INNER AMERICAN STIRRINS
pants = HALF-JAPANESE LIMINAL EXISTINS

But... are there any fixins?

I'm sorry you feel homesick. I hope you feel better soon! I have also been kinda down lately, so maybe its the alignment of the planets or something like that. And yeah, I blame everything on PMS. Hehe, PMS can strike at ANY time!

I feel better knowing the Christmas stuff starting before Thanksgiving is not a mere American phenomenon. Though I'm sure we started it. The holidays always makes it harder to be away from home.

I promise that not much has changed in America. Britney Spears is in the news everyday, and there is a National Treasure 2 movie coming out soon. WHY WAS THE FIRST MOVIE MADE?! WHY WAS THE SECCCOND MOVIE MADE?!!?!

If you need a scarf or any square-shaped winter-gear, I can knit you something! It will have to be done after the Christmas rush of knitting projects, but it will keep you warm in 2008!

Til we speak again, I thought this song would be nice to listen to. But I forgot how scary the music video is, so don't say I didnt warn ya!http://www

WOW. I feel like the opening shot of the MJ video says it all, and yet then there's so, SO much more (a very small part being 2:54-2:56). and apparently that song was written by none other thannnn

I'm glad that you enjoyed some MJ. I forgot about the scary naked MJ angel. I couldnt wait to get home and rewatch the video (since that would be too obvious at work..) and saw 2:54 and cracked up!

What a collaboration that would be....MJ and R. Kel. That would be some comeback! MJ could have a role in Trapped in the Closet! I think MJ of the Smooth Criminal video would be perfect for TITC! Ok, I need to stop before I get too excited.
I tried to get a good pic of the MJ Smooth Criminal LEAN move...but this LJ aint letting me put a pic in!

what's teaching kids who don't want to be taught like? i fear that often.
even if they don't want to learn, i'm sure they like you.
kids are always acting like their teachers aren't helping them, but i was talking to a bunch of my friends and they're always like "yeah, i did drop out of school, but there's no way i would have gotten as far as i did or at least get my ged and go to community college without mrs. hailey's help" (it's always mrs. hailey's help. sometimes mrs. volzer or mr. hoffler too)

Hiya, buddy! I just sent you a message for your spiffy new LJ inbox.

Once in freshman year I heard a guy sing Ue o Muite Arukou for a talent show and then I found a site that had ~50 different versions of the song and listened to them all. The site no longer hosts the mp3s, but if you so desire, you can learn the dance steps! (?!!!)

I leave you with a link to TL's new video. Best wishes from the West side, I hope you arm-wrassle all your problems to the ground, or maybe win some real arm-wrestling matches some of those students with 'tudes, but I guess that would not be proper instructional behavior. I do not know what are the cultural connotations of arm-wrestling in Japan :(

I'm not sure about arm-wrestling here, but I'm guessing it's the same as the states, maybe with even more of a Rocky bend though (it seems like you can buy the Rocky movies on DVD at most convenience stores).

regarding that video, man, that man is fit! best face is definitely at the 1:59-2:00 mark. that is the best Face I have seen in probably a month, at least

and hah, I looked at the "sukiyaki" dance steps. despite taking a salsa lesson once, box steps are beyond me. so unless they were to say "finger-point, booty-bump, go all out," then they're more for the DANCE PROS ONLY.
