1,000 evacuees are coming to pdx this week. oregon is one of 12(?) states volunteering to help shelter some people. i went down to se 14th & stark last night (the old monroe high school) where a lot of the people will be staying. there were hundreds of cots set up in the gym with a hand painted "welcome to portland" sign on the wall. the cop ( Read more... )
