Moon sinks, come awake,
With bars blurry in mind, still half-man half beast,
An unthinking thing, like waking dream, sleepwalks,
In mind’s eye,
Reach for coherence- fail,
Growl or swear or something in-between,
Teeth too big for mouth.
She shakes off the last vestiges of her transformation,
Aware of her nakedness once more- she clothes
