Got in at 10.30pm from 14.5 hour day in work. Could be the same tomorrow....*fun* -
The end of my apple saga...
As per my previous post, I decided to call an end to my dispute with apple. I picked up my noisy G5 and within ten minutes of getting it home I fixed the fan trouble and it is now back to it's old silent self. Went for a drive today and found my back brakes were sticking, making a loud squealing and stinking of burning. They unstuck after a while but probably not a good idea to go for a long drive until I've had them looked at. So no trip to look at surplus military things tomorrow :( -
Army Surplus
Now I don't think anyone here shares my enthusiasm for military surplus and collectables but cryptoshaman has pointed me in the direction of a large sale going on tomorrow by the Hack Green Nuclear Bunker. Need help, from any Mac users!!
I am having serious problems with my Power Mac G5. Most of the time it won't boot, it will power up, the fans will start and you can hear the hdd spin but then there is no video/black screen. Now and then it will bring up the grey apple loading screen with the spinning cog but then freeze. Occasionally it will actually boot into OS X but it will ( Read more... ) -

After going to "see" the Audible Picture Show at Fact I've started thinking about some projects I want to create to be submitted for consideration for inclusion within the show.
