My "duh" moment for the day
Today's photography class focused on Photoshop, and we learned a neat trick for setting white balance in the Camera Raw section - find a part of the image you know was white (in the professor's case, he used a shot of a white balance calibration card), then click on the white balance eyedropper tool, and POOF the colors get a lot more appealing to ( Read more... ) -

As I was driving home from class yesterday, I caught a fascinating new show on NPR - Studio 360. I guess this was the first time it's aired on our local station, and it looks like a really cool addition to the Saturday lineup.
