Sunday Morning

I am sitting in room 176 at Grahm Hospital in Canton Illinois. My father has been admitted and I've been told he has double penumona (however you spell it) and was told by a doctor that I respect. Mark, I am so sorry. As with your mom, I feel that this is the best place for your dad. He will be reunited with your mother and they will shed their painful existances here. I think you already have made the decision about his code status, but as a nurse, I urge you to make your desires clear as to what should happen if he takes a turn for the worse. Keep him comfortable and take care of yourself, honey. Call if you need anything. 513-232-1622
