Mark, I am so sorry. As with your mom, I feel that this is the best place for your dad. He will be reunited with your mother and they will shed their painful existances here. I think you already have made the decision about his code status, but as a nurse, I urge you to make your desires clear as to what should happen if he takes a turn for the worse.
