Brighton! Squee!
Had another lovely weekend in my favourite town with funkygirlie - arrived Friday evening and was sent into raptures within five minutes when the train we boarded to get to her house actually went 'ding ding' before pulling away. - Dreamt that I was staying at a house in Japan (though it was sometimes China) with a friend. I got overcharged at a shop while it was China because I had no idea how much the money was worth, and there was confusion over whether or not we were supposed to bow to the owner of the house on our way in and out ( Read more... )

Stonking
That was one of the best weekends out I've had in quite a long while.
I have a lot to think about, but I've also only had about 4 hours of sleep in the past 41.
I'm going to bed. -
Whoo!
In the half-hour since I left work, the weather changed from perfectly clear and incredibly hot to intensely rainy summer storm with proper lightning. (With a blue-sky crack of thunder transition in between).
It's now my favourite kind of weather outdoors! Yea! Who wants to come jump in puddles? -
I don't know what point I was trying to make here
Went out to the new 'Goth / Metal / Rock' night at a club in Southampton at the end of April, which was fairly average - would have been too pricey if I'd not had a student card. Summer is approaching at speed
I've had a letter today from the University inviting me along for an informal interview, and also a lovely cheque from my ISA which is going directly into savings. A few days ago I was filling in loan forms (and feeling oddly pleased about it) and tomorrow I'm off to Hatfield to visit friends I haven't seen in two years ( Read more... ) -

Had a really lovely extended weekend in Brighton with Laura at the start of February - nobody had ever told me what a nice place Brighton is! It's got lovely pokey quaint lanes, actual alleyways and sweetshops and things, and a generally happy atmosphere all over. I already want to live there.
