I have a theory that when Ed McMahon died he convinced Johny Carson to put a talk show together in the nether world. The opening night guests of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson has topped anything that Conan has put on. Guest for tonight's show is Karl Malden, RIP.

Since I'll be starting up school soon I've been taking advantage of the lovely weather to work on a tan this year. In between my running around to different appointments I've been slathering on Hawaiian Tropic and dragging a book and an egg timer to the backyard. Things I did today while on hold: moved laundry, walked to mail box, made sandwich, ate sandwich, put old cat on bed, updated facebook status, checked to see if my professors added any books and blogged about being on hold.

Got the oddest call the other night saying that I had won a free burial plot and that a "counselor" would be calling me later in the week. A bit creepy but had to admit pre-planning makes sense. Boy, lack of sleep and piles of paper sure make me angry. I might go out and yell at random people to make myself feel better.

I finally checked the mail that Sion ignored while I was gone and there it was, the letter congratulating me on being recommended for Graduate School admission. WoooHOOOOOOOO!!!!

Worse bit - having to learn the words to Bow Down to Washington.

Best bit - never losing an Apple Cup.

I walked down to the beach at low tide this morning and no one was around. I saw deer tracks on the trail and when I got down to the beach there were three deer trekking along the beach. My parents discovered Hartstene Island several years ago and lucked into a fully furnished place on the north point of the island. They escape out here about every other weekend.
