Happy birthday to ladyarkham, who is a fabulous friend, a dedicated scholar of medicines, and a lovely young woman I am pleased to call my (fake adopted) little sister.  :)

When my mom was pregnant with me she worked on sewing a Christmas wall hanging project.  When I moved a few years ago she gave it to me, along with a note explaining how she was in the hospital a lot with me and had a lot of time to work on it, and all the nurses would come in and check on her progress and ask how the project was coming.  I hang it ( Read more... )
