Linen, and pants?
I'm either today, or sometime in the next few days, going to be ordering 10 yards of 5.3 oz linen from fabric-store.com. I figure it's a great staple fabric, so it certainly won't go to waste.

Sewing?
Is there going to be sewing this week? I figured I'd ask since it's the holiday.
Dreams of a second Eleanor of Toledo dress are starting to dance in my head... I've bought silk for the chemise, and am looking at materials for the trim again... and Conn wants new garb, 11c Irish... anyone have ideas of where to look? -

I've got some time on my hands, and heading out is looking much better than working/cleaning, at least for 1 night. -
Tendonitis sucks
Went to bed Sunday, I was fine... I woke up Monday with pain in my right wrist... which increased until Tuesday afternoon, when I left work in the middle of my shift to go to the doctor. He diagnosed me with wrist flexor tendonitis.
I took Wednesday off work, am on Percocet (Endocet), and have a brace I've been using off and on... he doesn't want ( Read more... ) -

Conn's been trying for the last month or more to get vacation from work, and they've been turning him down. Yet they told him that if he didn't put in for vacation by this week, before the schedule for the next quarter is out, then they'll assign his vacation for him ( Read more... ) -
Cooking Chinese...
I've been hit by some odd inspiration lately, and have been looking into cooking indian/middle eastern/chinese food lately.... collecting ingredients here and there, but not cooking anything yet, until tonight.
I'm making what the internets says is 3 chinese dishes :D I have no idea how correct they really are, but it smells good!
