So thanks to MIKE-SOON-TO-DIE HARVEY, Rho and I never made it home. We're stuck in the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner if anybody wonders if we're alive or dead. I'm glad you have a place. There are lots who may be otherwise stuck. My daughter is trying to get out of the Tysons area. OMG this is ridiculous.

I think I got snowed in at that hotel back in aught-three. AFTER spending two days trapped at my desk because nobody else could make it in to relieve me.

Oh, damn, so been there. On proposals, not because of snow emergencies. I'll bet that bed and that shower felt godlike, after two days stuck at the office.

The worst bit about that little debacle was that once I did get home (having only slept for a few hours at the hotel because nobody relieved me until 6am and checkout was noon), there was nowhere to PARK because the curb lanes were filled with feet of snow.
