I'm standing outside a pub, waiting for a friend from my Japanese class, who's turning 25 tomorrow. The other guests went to someone's house, and are presumably still there because they ain't in the pub.

I'm going to chill here for another 5 minutes, then I shall depart.

I finished reading The Bracelet. I liked the ending - it had a realism to it that I appreciated. Something about endings being all sunshine and daffodils irritates me... ironic, because I love both (sunshine and daffodils, that is).
