I got a manicure and pedicure today. For real. It was weird and kind of awesome.
Then I Skype-attended a party in Budapest, which was more than kind of awesome. I learned toasts in various languages, all of which I wrote down because I am a geek.

I'm not going to wax poetic about it or anything, but I just wanted to say that as I sat in a conference room full of unknown coworkers listening to President Obama speak, I was hella moved.
It's a great day for America, everyone.

Beginning of Semester Blues
So here I am in library school, and as I begin work on a short paper, I inwardly groan because I realize that to get the sources I need, I have to go to the library. Ugh!
No seriously, what have I gotten myself into? I don't really want to do this.

I just watched an entire football game from start to finish. And you know what?
PITTSBURGH'S GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!

Okay everyone, I need your help. I have to come up with 25 links to Things That Amuse Me On The Internet (e.g. Go Fug Yourself, Movies in Fifteen Minutes, xkcd, Dr. Horrible, the boomdeyada commercial, etc). Keeping a blog? As homework? Really?
I had the most pleasant shock yesterday, about halfway through my second class of the semester: I realized that I'm actually excited about school. I'm taking that feeling and running with it.
