Why don't I read more? When it comes down to it, it is pretty much my favorite thing in the world to do. -
Food? Family? One end-of-year holiday is much the same as another.
The downside of having Casa Thanksgiving is that when Real Thanksgiving rolls around two weeks later, I feel like it's Christmas. I guess the snow is contributing to that though.
(Thank god it's not actually Christmas yet, because I only have one of four gifts done. The deadline, it looms!) -
Gearing Up, Digging In
Yesterday meged335 and I went out in the snow to plant spring bulbs, so we will have something beautiful to look forward to when the warm weather rolls back around.
I find preparation for winter to be as much mental as physical -- once the novelty of the snow wears off, you need something to keep you going through the dark cold months. I always get a touch ( Read more... )
