It's what happens. You leave a place where you know the language and your neighbours and end up somewhere else where you know no one. It could be down the street, it could be across hemispheres. I still, I look at this place and wonder how any of us ended up in this open air prison, somehow north of Calgary, yet on the other side of the world.
