Yesterday Amber and I went to a house that was for rent in a neighborhood closer to my job.  It is affordable, and very reasonably priced, and is less than 4 years old. Even the bedroom is the exact shade my wife wanted.  We applied, and were told that it would know before 5 pm today if we could move in.

My car's odometer rolled over 200,000 miles last week, and this weekend we're starting to look for a new vehicle.

Our old car is nothing all that special, really. Just a 1999 Hyundai Tiberon, red and sporty, two doors.  Even so, we've been through a lot together, and knowing it's quickly approaching the end of the road makes me a little sad. This ( Read more... )

Two instances where the funniest part of the movie was changed from the theatrical to the DVD version of a movie.

AMC is showing the first 2 episodes of Breaking Bad, back-to-back on Sunday night at 10 pm. Don't waste the chance to watch this great new show from the start.

There's drugs, violence, nudity, swear words, very black humor, drugs, and violence.  Everything a great show needs.

This is the best show on TV right now.  Easily. You'll be sorry if you don't start watching it right away.

I'm not sure how the channel AMC wound up with the show 'Breaking Bad'.  This show, with Bryan Cranston as a fed-up high school chemistry teacher that starts a meth lab with a former student, is seriously awesome.
