This weekend, we surprised the kids with a train ride to the North Pole.  A conductor took our tickets, the train took off, we went past various light displays and such.  Well, today wasn't the day, I guess. And I finally got myself psyched up enough to handle it. It was almost a letdown.

 I enjoyed Paris, je t'aime.  Even the depressing, sappy stuff. If nothing else, watch it for the Coen bros. short film starring Steve Buscemi.

Just remember this holiday season, if you go and see The Golden Compass, it will make the baby Jesus cry.

What I like is the second e-mail, which implies that the children's journey to destroy God would have be okie-dokie if it was Allah, and not Yahweh.

I've had a subscription to Maxim magazine for several years, and I couldn't help but notice that I haven't been finding the magazine as clever or funny as I used to. All the jokes seem recycled, and the humor obvious. Up until yesterday, I assumed it was because I had matured beyond the sophomoric kind of humor.
