Well, I decided at the last minute to drive down to Newport News, VA to enjoy what little bit of summer I have left.  Classes start up on the 25th (yes, my birthday...aaugh!), so I basically am back to work.  Mind you, I'm not complaining that I spent most of this summer doing a whole lot of nothing, except teaching those 2 summer school classes, ( Read more... )

We have lost another one of the great entertainers...Merv Griffin died at the age of 82 of prostate cancer...

I really enjoyed the movie.  It was short, and had a lot of the characteristics that we have come to know and love about the Simpsons clan. :-)  Go see it if you haven't yet!

Well, I finally did it!  For about a month now, I have had a mountain of clean laundry languishing on my bedroom floor.  Well, yesterday I managed to finally put it all away.  Hooray for me!  Now if I can get through the rest of my weekend to-do list...

Yay!  I finally got the website to work for me. :-)
