I offended someone at work today by seeming dismissive of a question they asked. Only it wasn't a question so much as a judgement of something I said in a meeting in question form. I have spent more time than I would like waiting in hospitals. I don't like them. People may tell you that they are sterile places both literally and figuratively. That's not entirely true. The walls drip with emotion for people like me. Imagination plus empathy creates hotspots which make it very difficult for me to stay in the moment. Hospitals. ( Read more... )
