Wow, I loved this to pieces! In fact I adored the fact that it doesn't end well (or maybe I should just say it doesn't end, because I wouldn't exclude that Arthur is interested in Eames) and that it leaves us with this slight uncertain feeling of loneliness for Eames' bad handling of the relationship.
I think the characterization was flawless, and the way you describe Eames' reasoning and thought processes is great. <3
Oh, wow. That flowed actually really well. I expected more awkward edges when I read the first half but everything slotted together marvelously. Also, the story and your Eames was put on show in such a short length of words - it's surprising and admirable every time I see it happen. I loved it.

I really enjoyed the thoughts in this fic about what the mind of a forger might be like.
And the ending fitted beautifully - even if I had been half holding out for a happy ending, it was actually satisfying to read something different.
