You should take Auggie to the north market in the summer. They have kids stuff with their farmers market, like a petting zoo and balloons and a tractor/train. Plus my kids usually graze their way through all the fruit and veggie samples the vendors have sitting out...and yeah sometimes free cookies from Mozart's too!

When I saw your icon I thought Twin Peaks! but then I thought...oh, it's probably not. Then I read your first one and knew it was from Twin Peaks!

How did you meet your mom friends. I feel like every mom friend I've made has been out of convenience, i.e. mom's friend's daughter, pre-school friend's mom, neighbor. Maybe I' m just to odd to make good mom friends.

I smell everything too!! I have a really good sense of smell and people always think I'm crazy. One time a plastic power outlet cover started melting at school in the computer lab. I had been complaining about the smell for 4 days before anyone else even noticed it, and then it was another 3 days before the smell got bad enough that a janitor came in and started looking for the cause of it. It was that really hard plastic that smells burnt and fishy when it melts. I used to think I had phantom smells, but now I'm convinced I just smell stuff more than most people. My least favorite smell is rotten towel smell. No idea why, but it lingers in my nose when I smell it and I can't get it out ( ... )

Thanks for telling me to do it. It was really fun but I had a hard time not ganking more of yours. I loved your being more comfortable with the really poor than the really rich, I totally get that. And I think greyhound bus angel is pretty cool...
The smell thing is odd, but I heard once someone talking about how some people can have really powerful vision or hearing and I thought to myself, 'well I have that with my sense of smell'.

You could totally come hang...though I think I'd rather leave the kids behind for bit and visit you!

I totally forgot about award shows, I've brought myself to tears with acceptance speeches! Its really comforting knowing that someone else gets this craziness!
