New DVD Player

I think I'm going to go with the Toshiba SD4900 for my new player. It appears to have good anamorphic PAL to NTSC conversion automatically (no distortion like some of the cheaper players have) and can easily bypass region protection. Since it is technically a native region 1 player, it shouldn't have any problems with the new RCE protection some

Cool, thanks. Right now it is looking like it is cheaper to get them from the UK than Aus by about $5 including shipping.

that would be because the aussie dollar is doing so well against the $US atm, like 0.78 or something
