Ugh.
Pretty much a fail of a week. I somehow misplaced $100 on Monday (who does that?). And today I got sent home five minutes into my shift because I looked (and felt) like shit. I probably would have had an absolute horrid night at work, but... still... I really need the money right now. I sent my story in for the contest, but I don't think it will ( Read more... ) -
I've been ridiculously busy the last couple of weeks. I don't know how people manage second jobs and all of that :/ My two days off a week, I don't get a full day to myself.It's all tennis and family stuff and often both. Watching a documentary of a family in New Zealand. I think I've found my perfect man - completely chill, with a gentle nature, and in love with nature. I find that I'm rather a fan of the absolute mane of hair he has going on. Well, it's booked. No turning back now.
I leave on August 4. Guess that means I should start figuring out when I'm giving notice at work and how much time I'm giving myself as an unemployed person to get ready for the trip.... and, also, whether I'll be making a trip to one of the major cities so I can cash my savings bonds. -

Long walks and deep talks.
I worked until late last night, training the new kid. I didn't mind it, to be honest. We all start somewhere and he's a lot like me when I first started, in that he hasn't done a lot of hospitality work and he's not a drinker.
