using duct tape to fix somethign dosent make you macgyver.
while a person must be macgyver to fix anything,
duct tape can fix anything all by itself.
the fact that a human is nearby (namely you) does not detract from the power of duct tape.
duct tape fixed your car... you aparently stood there and held a butterknife.
