SURELY there must be a logical reason why they would need people that sounded like the Futurama voice actors OTHER than recasting. WHAT THE HELL???

You know more people that would be deeply concerned about this than I. I want to repost it, but it is TECHNICALLY illegal for me to do so. Hmmmmmmm... I am HOPING it's for some quick promo thing that they don't wanna use all the real people for.

My biggest question is are they looking for IMPRESSIONISTS? They should clearly state that they want impersonations. To be honest, I would prefer them all sounding NOTHING like the original characters. With the angry, angry internet pushing and shoving, I have a feeling that they'll FIND A WAY to pay the voice actors their due salary before any of this gets set in stone. Horribly real, Joel. Thanks for investigating!

Yeah, I'm actually not too concerned. I think it's just a strategy on their part to get the actors to cave. They did the same thing with the Simpsons back in the day, which is an even more ridiculous show to consider recasting.
