i've been home a little less than a week, and it's nice. the strikes in paris pushed me out of that country and i couldn't be happier to be in a city that is not paralyzed and up in arms over new laws that are actually good for the french population..but this is france and when there is the slightest opportunity to revolt, they will take that ( Read more... ) -

i've lived in paris for over four years, yet i the monthly air raid siren (first wednesday of every month at noon) have totally evaded me. just a minute ago i was mildly panicked, that in fact, maybe there was going to be an air raid of some sort! by then google came to my rescue and i read that paris tests its sirens every month since wwII. ok ( Read more... ) -

covert operation
yesterday was the outing that david had organized for his firefighter buddies. it was supposed to be about 12 but since 2 canceled and everything was already paid for i was able to go. lisa would've come as well but she's working hard in the studio for the deadline. anyway, the first part was wakeboarding. most had never done it before so the guys ( Read more... ) -

ex revival
i slept over lisa's on friday since by the time i got there it was already 10:30. we ended up just chilling in her apartment since her flatmates were away and the place was halfway decent. she lives with dirty ogres basically. anyway, it was lots of fun just doing nothing really. we are really alike and have the same tastes in most things (except ( Read more... ) -
