Further to the last post, my main system is now up and running with a fresh install of XP. I have access to all my old data again, and have got Firefox and Thunderbird set up and running, with the old data copied over, so I'm back in online contact with the world.

I have been lazy of late and not updated in a while. Not too much has been going on. I've been to the Dentist, the Optometrist, and have been getting ready for the move back up to Ottawa and for TT ( Read more... )

I've not seen the LotR musical yet and would kind of like to. Is anyone interested in seeing it (again, if you've already seen it) sometime?

Last weekend got together with a bunch of folk: ate, saw X-Men 3, were merry. Was much fun. Got to chat with some folks I don't often get much time with, which is always nice. The movie was fun, if not all that great ( Read more... )

Apparently I fail at avoiding Anime North con-plague. Today is the first day I actually got out and did anything since, and I'm still really stuffed up.

I did manage to get some shopping and stuff done today, which was good.

Perhaps I'll say something about AN. My con reports are usually pretty terse, but I'll see what I can do.

Wrote my last final of the semester today, Real-time Concurrent Systems. It went quite well, and was a refreshingly well set exam. Now that the exams were done, I let myself check my mark in the other Computer Science course I was taking. Turns out I did okay, which is good, as I was a little worried about that one. Wrote the Human Genetics and Evolution final today. It went okay. Actually, I don't really care how I did, since I don't actually need this course for anything.
